Teacher Materials
The KinderBach Course is divided into 6 Levels. Presently, 3 of those Levels are formatted for music studio use. Each Level has 20 lesson plans for 20 to 30 minute classes. It adds up to 60 lesson plans in the 3 Levels. Following the KinderBach timeline of 2 classes per week, there is a full school year (October to May) of music education using piano as a base. Of course, the teacher does not need to give 2 classes per week. The course is flexible to the teacher's schedule. Years and years of reusable pdf books, DVDs and CDs!
Each Level of Teacher materials includes:
1) A Teacher Guide DVD – The Teacher DVD provides samples of entertaining keyboard and music instruction you can use in your classroom. Lessons are packed with activities, games, crafts, funny characters and voices. You may show any section in the classroom or just use it as a resource for teaching ideas.
2) A Teacher Audio CD – The Teacher CD has all of the songs you will need for class with performance and demonstration tracks, tonal patterns by voice and instrument, as well as music for games. You do not need to play the piano or have any music background. You just need the willingness to learn with the children and model that to them.
3) A Teacher’s Book CD - Reusable teacher materials!
a. A Teacher Guide Book– The guide includes goals for each Level, a list of music development areas, tips on teaching group music to young children, music theory notes, instrument advice, and materials list.
b. Lesson Plans - No lesson planning for the teacher! There are 20 complete lesson plans for each level which may be used as is or changed to suite your needs.c. A Teacher Aids Book- The teacher aids listed in the lesson plans are all printable from your book CD in color. Some you will print on cardstock and laminate for frequent use. They are designed to fit in standard file folders for easy storage.
d. A Student Activity Book – Your copy of the children’s PDF web pages. Students MUST have their own copy of the books. It is illegal to print pages for students who do not have their own copy!!
