What do they have to
say about KinderBach?

"This is the best stuff out there!..."

"The kids LOVE it!  They ask to do Kinderbach everyday."

"A wonderful way to give an introduction to making music!"

"For the first time, my son sat down at the piano and began to play!"

"I taught piano for over 10 years and never could find anything this good."

"I am currently using the Kinderbach music curriculum and am having great success with my 8 and 6 year old children.  My almost 4 year old sat down and played the "Dodi Running" song in Activty Book 3!  Then he got down and acted it out perfectly with his feet!  Thank you for providing such a fun way to learn about music.  My 8 year old is not particularly "music savvy", but he is really "getting it"!  Yesterday, I was upstairs cleaning when I heard a sound that was truly "music to my ears".  For the first time, my son sat down at the piano and began to play, on his own, all the songs he has learned so far in the current Activity Book.  It was exciting to hear such an independent desire to play the piano!  He wants to learn the guitar so I told him he has to first start with the piano and then can move on to other instruments.  I just wanted to share some of my joy with you all as I know you worked hard to put this curriculum together."

"It has been such a great  blessing for me with this demo that i have received . From the time i got this website I've been anxious to see this demo .I must admit that this is what i've been looking for a very long time.I am a home school mum with no musical back ground. I've been using a music book and it is so stressful to read the music I watched  the demo with great haste and love it ,I want more of this learning tool.So i am stress free. I also learn music on my own.My children are 7 and 8 years old.I will definenately get this music programme as soon as possible. My children love it. We have learnt a lot even in the demo.
Thank you very much for such a great idea."

"I decided to try Kinderbach because my 4 year old daughter seemed to love the piano but was too young to begin formal lessons as she had not yet learned to read. We bought the first ten lessons to try it out.
She loved it and still does. I love the characters that are used to teach them each note. After only a 12 lessons, I am amazed she can play "Hot
Cross Buns" using the correct fingers with hardly any thought at all! I look forward to seeing her learn more. I hope Kinderbach will consider
creating even more lessons!"

"Hi, Karri,
I just wanted to say that you are a fantastic teacher, and this is the best stuff out there. I was sooo excited to find your curriculum at the home school convention this year. I taught piano for over 10 years and never could find anything this good."

"Okay--I've just got to say thank you for the wonderful activity books.  We've been struggling with the 3 year old to do seatwork.  She doesn't color, doesn't want to write.  I'm lucky to get scribbles.
That changed this week since we've started working through the activity book for lesson one.  Earlier,  she sat, held her crayon correctly, and came very very close to coloring between the lines. The practice has spread to other things.  She wrote her own nickname today. I can't thank you enough!
We're working our way through lesson 1.  My 7 year old and I have looked through the book.  He thinks it's a bit babyish for him, BUT he wants to help his 3 year old sister through it. So, I'm not sure what to think :-)
Right now, they are making Hot Cross Buns out of playdough and going through the house singing and walking to the beat of the song.
I love how easy this is to incorporate into our daily plans and for both kids to do it at the same time.
Thank you!"

"I received my order about a week ago and the kids LOVE it!  They ask to do Kinderbach everyday.  The activity books are a big hit and we have watched the first 2 lessons more than once already.  What a wonderful way to give an introduction to making music.  Thanks for a great product."

I wanted to share with you how much of an impression KinderBach is making with my twins.  The other day we were stringing beads and we happened to have small, medium and large beads to work with.  Cole was stringing his in a large, small, medium, small pattern and chanting, “strong, weak, medium, weak.”  And all three are noticing patterns everywhere.  Isaac, my three year old, finds “stepping up” or “stepping down” patterns in the most surprising places (like in the pattern of lighted candles at church) and loves to break out singing whatever pattern he comes across .I just thought you might like to know what an impact KinderBach is making, and how deep the learning I see taking place.  Thanks.

"I can't tell you how much we have enjoyed your music program.  Our twin girls (almost 6)
have loved EVERY single lesson.  We can't wait to get started on semester 2!!!  Thank you! This program is such a blessing."

"I just wanted to send you a note letting you know how pleased I am with your program.  My 3 year old son Ryan and my 4 year old daughter Caitlyn adore Ms. Karri and all the piano pals!  The first thing I hear from them when they come downstairs in the morning is to do Kinderbach.  They are already playing songs and my 4 year old is already writing her own songs!  I just can't believe it!  I'm even learning the piano with the kids and even the baby enjoys the videos.  All in all, a huge success!!  Thank you and I do hope that you continue to create more lessons."

" KinderBach will captivate your children through bright illustrations and humorous adventures of Frisco and his imaginary friends on the keyboard. Before you know it, your children will know all the keys on the piano/keyboard and will be able to play simple songs!
Best of all, you can achieve all this in your home--no scheduling lessons and no commute time. This program is designed for the mom/parent to teach music at home with no prior music training or experience. It really is that easy! Everything is so nicely set up for you to succeed!

My three, five, and seven year old and I watch the KinderBach DVD as a group (don’t leave your child alone in front of the TV!) and practice the activities along with Karri. Then after the lesson we do additional activities and practice what we have learned through the week.

Karri Gregor has geared this program specifically to the child from ages two to seven years old, though on many lessons my nine and ten year old sons attend as well and chuckle at the humor and join in on the rhythm exercises. The nine and ten year old who already take piano lessons say they want to support their younger siblings aged 3, 5, and 7 in their music learning and tell me they know much of the material in Kinderbach, but not all! For instance they just learned through Kinderbach that of the four beats, the first one is strong, the second one is weak, the third one is medium, and the fourth one is weak. This is foundational knowledge that every music student should know, but somehow slipped through the cracks here. (Oops!!) Karri introduces this through cartoon characters called beat bugs in a format that any preschooler on up can understand. After this lesson we used a colored page of beat bugs from our activity book and practiced playing the four beats over and over with rhythm sticks. All my kids had great fun playing the strong and weak beats (though they favored the strong beats—Tee hee!)

I love the way she teaches finger numbers (used to properly play piano) by sprinkling it through the lessons with unique activities each time. In lesson three there is a fun matching game that you make with the kids. All the materials are on the Activity CD for you to print off. We had fun this first day of lesson three coloring the cards, putting them on card stock, and then cutting them and playing the game.

I am a former music teacher, trained in the Kodaly method in Hungary, and ten years teaching in public schools. We have a lot of music happening in our home already. My oldest son sings and plays guitar, and the next three take piano lessons and practice often. We sing each morning during our group time, but what I had been leaving out was teaching some foundational concepts of music in a step-by-step fashion. It can be hard to fit it all in. In my early years of homeschooling I ran a music school from my home and put a lot of time into teaching music to my own children, but as more children were added I found less and less time for music teaching. I am grateful for KinderBach because it a high quality program and has given me a way to easily, and systematically teach my younger set basic music skills in a fun way.

Just before Christmas I printed off all of KinderBach’s Christmas Songs, which comes in a handy collection. Karri has developed a unique stair step approach to teaching beginning note-reading skills that she ties in with the characters she gradually introduces through the lessons.

Even though my 5 and 7 year old had only completed a few beginning KinderBach lessons they took to this selection of Christmas songs right away. Neither of them have had formal lessons on piano, though I have shown them a few things here and there. But they were able to pick up these songs and play them by reading the notes. It is a very simplified version of each Christmas Carol, but they feel such success at being able to read the music on their own, and I am the proud mama standing in the sidelines!

Karri’s personality is warm and engaging and this shines through even on the DVD! My kids enjoy her so much that they’ll run into the room if they hear the KinderBach theme song playing! They want to see what Karri is up to! J We also enjoy her son who participates in the DVD! It is nice to have that manly voice encouraging the kids in music too! "
